ROMEO AND JULIET: A Satire

Have you ever been so angry at being forced to read something that you wrote a 35,000-word response to a 28,000-word text? Don't you think that the typical approach to Shakespeare's work is far heavier and more complex than it should be?

This is the good old ROMEO AND JULIET you know and love, but about 500 years in the future, with light swords, the internet, robots, and some references to all the ROMEO AND JULIET fanfiction that has accreted over the centuries.

Re-written and self-published by Aretino Wilde. this ROMEO AND JULIET mashup version features highly appealing Manga illustrations and it even has a Karate Jesus character. Oh, and the Prince of Verona is a robot!
